 Beyond the Bell:  Life Skills for Teens

Salem Announces School Winners for
Jacket 2 Jacket Reading Program  
 
           
 
 Salem students participated in the Georgia Tech Women's Basketball Reading Program,  Jacket 2 Jacket.  Students record all pages read during the month of October.   All student participants receive tickets to the Lady Jackets game versus Boston College on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 PM in McCamish Pavillion on the Georgia Tech Campus.  The top student readers and classes receive cookie parties and trophies at the Academic Honors Assembly in January.  Those winners are:

Salem Middle Dress Code for 2019-2020 Follows the  Dekalb County Dress Code

 

Salem Middle School follows and enforces the Dekalb County Dress Code which is featured in the Student Handbook.  Additionally, Salem does not allow students to wear clothing to school that is torn, ripped, shredded, tattered, or distressed.  Please read the Student Code of Conduct book or read the Dekalb County Dress Code on the Parent Page (click on the red tab at the top of this page).  Salem does not require uniforms.
