Lady Lions Win District Basketball Championship !!!!!
Salem's Lady Lions won the District Basketball Championship Saturday with a 39-36 victory over Champion Charter School.  It was an exciting game that went down to the last few minutes.  But the Lady Lions prevailed.  They all played well, and the free throw shooting of Shan'ya Heath helped to seal the victory.  Coaches Hana and Thornton guided the Lions through the game with an excellent game plan.  Most Valuable Player was Shani'ya Heath.
Great Game Everyone !!!!!!

Please send your student(s) to school with masks each day to help stop the spread of COVID-19.  Please remind them that  wearing masks helps prevent the spread of COVID-19. For the greatest protection, the mask must be worn over the nose and mouth.

Salem Lions Win the Dekalb County Middle School District Championship

The Salem Lions defeated a good Stephenson Middle School team on October 30th by 6-0 to win the District Championship.

All of the Lions worked hard and never gave up to win a well played game.

The defense kept Stephenson from scoring, earning the great distinction of having not been scored on all year!

Congratulations to Coach Cooper and Coach Rucker, along with the great players.

Charles Harris (CJ) won the Most Valuable Player Award.

Jaleel Baugh won the Most Valuable Offensive Player Award.
